The Department taught Botany subject at first year and second year B.Sc. level.
The well-organized revised curriculum including basic as well as advanced concepts in the plant sciences adopted under the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) Pattern and implemented from June 2019 by the Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), Pune for the first year (FYBSc) and second year (SYBSc) shall inspire the students for pursuing higher studies in Botany to becomeResearcher, Plant Scientist, andan Entrepreneur.Besides, it will enable students to get employment in the field of advanced Botany and agro-based industries.
