Department of Economics of Shri Shiv Chhatrapati College of Arts, Commerce & Science is one of the best departments in Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. The members of the department have always been active to create the greatest educational scenario in the college by putting efforts to uplift the hidden qualities of students for betterment of the society. Economics is taught for Art’s & Commerce faculties. For Art’s it is at Special and General level and for Commerce it is at Compulsory level. Medium of instruction is Marathi for both Art’s and Commerce wings. For Commerce Students the Subject is taught through English Medium also. The Department of Economics runs the following activities.
