Growth and Expansion:
On July 2010 Shri Shiv Chhatrapati College Junnar established “Rajmata Jijau Women’s Studies Centre approved by University Grant Commission, New Delhi. Founding Chairman of this Centre Dr. L.D. Deore & Present Chairman has Mrs. Dr. Vandana V. Nadhe and member Prof.Sachin Kasbe, Prof. Javed Shaikh also Working.
The aim and objectives of Department:
- The aim of “Rajmata Jijau Women’s Studies Centre is to create awareness in college students in particular and the massage in general regarding the Women Empowerment program.
- To study the problem of women in Junnar taluka & to guide them to solve the problems.
- The Center is a Social organization so to create Social awareness in students.
- To the intention of this motto in make them more intellectual, Social and cultural based value education to boys and girls and to develop them personality by providing them right chances so that they may turn out to be responsible, self-reliant citizens of this country.
- The main objective of this women’s Studies Centre is to provide information about different courses and different researches on graduation.
